Up the Sunshine Coast

In Roberts Creek, we found "The Secret Beach". Even though there's a sign, it felt somewhat secret as there weren't many people there on a bright summer day. On that day low tide was way out there and many starfish got stranded. There is a strong earth first, organic farm presence here. We went to a fantastic farm/brewery/food truck called Persephone Brewing Company where I had the poutines, of all things. When in Canada I have to have poutines at least once! After Gibsons we continued up the coast to Sechelt, Porpoise Bay and Tuwanek, where we kayaked on the Salish Sea. Prettybepic scenery!

20 miles up the road, we checked into Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. (Canadians seem to like secrets). This resort is in a spectacular setting and the craftsmanship is amazing. There is treetop boardwalk that gets you to glamping tents, all with exceptional privacy and views to really die for. It felt like Dawn and I were contestants on "The Golden Bachelor"and we were one fo them dates.
